Sounders gotta get to work in the transfer market for an attacker or two. Bruin is fine when you have Jordan Morris making the runs and opening space for him but he's unable to create his own shot as a #9 up top. Neither him, nor Clint, do any running at all so really need to find someone... saw a few rumors about Jackson Martinez but i don't see how you can approach a DP striker that is expected to be at the World Cup. Need a guy that will play all summer and could potentially stick around when Dempsey retires, not someone who will be gone 6 weeks and would just use MLS as a springboard to return to Europe.
and, wtf happened to Harry Shipp? I thought the kid was going to be a potential USMNT left winger with Chicago and now he's invisible. seemed like great business getting him from MTL last year but he's regressed and was absolutely awful last night.

Sounders never replaced Oba Martins. He had speed, hold up ability and quality touches. Bruin has none of those things. He's good at heading the ball in the net, that's it. It's painful to watch him use his feet. Hopefully, they bring in a quality forward with speed during the summer transfer window. Dempsey's getting older and slower, so he needs speed around him. Not sure if Lodiero is regressing or not, but he's lost his sharpness.
